Chief Executive of UK Trade & Investment visits Egypt

Nick Baird, Chief Executive of UK Trade & Investment, visited Egypt to explore opportunities for British companies in the Egyptian market.

On 22 May 2013, Nick Baird, began his two day visit to Egypt to learn more about the opportunities for British companies in the Egyptian market, and to discuss the challenges facing current and potential investors with British and Egyptian business leaders and senior Egyptian Government officials, including the new Minister of Investment, HE Yehyia Hamed.

UKTI is the Government body which helps British businesses export and seeks to bring foreign investment to the UK. Britain remains the largest foreign investor in Egypt with estimated total value of UK investment at over $30 billion.
