Cairo Visa Section Announcement
From 15th December, the Cairo Visa Section will no longer offer an in-person customer advice window
Please note that as of 15th December 2013 the Visa Section in Cairo can no longer offer an in-person applicant advice or document collection service unless you have been contacted by the Visa Section or if you wish to withdraw your application. All document collections are handled by our Visa Application Centre. You need to allow for the processing time of 15 working days to have passed (as stated in our customer service standards) before enquiring about the status of you visa application. Should you wish to enquire after the 15 working days have passed, then you can do so by sending an email to: cairo.visaapplicants@fco.gov.uk. This is so that we can focus on our working queues and enable us to deliver a more consistent and higher quality of service
