British businesses networking event in Cameroon
British High Commission recently organised a second networking event for UK companies and host government officials to discuss on taxation.
UK businesses and Cameroonian counterparts exchanging on taxation
The Business Networking Event on took place Thursday 24 April in Douala.
About 20 British businesses operating in Cameroon attended the event along side members from the government taxation department, customs and other government stake holders.
Three presentations were done explaining Cameroon’s taxation system and a question and answer session by guests from the Directorate General of Taxes also took place.
A representative from the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development -MINEPAT spoke to participants about the Trade & Investment Forum in London from 7-9 May 2014.
The next Business Networking Event is currently planned for the third week of July 2014. ”
