British brands prove that Shopping is GREAT in the Philippines

British retail brands showcased at British Brand Exhibition highlight UK design excellence ahead of the Great British Festival

British brand exhibition

British fashion and lifestyle have dominated worldwide trends, raised best-dressed icons and started style revolutions. The UK serves as a home for talented visionaries and the most renowned design and fashion universities in the world.

On 21 to 24 January 2016, the British Embassy Manila brought 26 brands together to showcase combination of the modern and the classics well-loved by many at the British Brand Exhibition at the Central Square Mall in Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City.

Participating brands

The participating brands were: Berghaus, Burton, Cath Kidston, Clarks, Debenhams, Dune, ELC, F&F, Hackett, John Lewis Home, Kurt Geiger, Lee Cooper, Lonsdale, Lush, Lyle and Scott, M&S, Mamas & Papas, Mini, Mitre, Mothercare, Pepe Jeans, REISS, River Island, Sanders, Speedo, The Body Shop, TM Lewin.

Great British Festival

This event is just a small taste of the grand celebration of all things British at the third annual Great British Festival happening on 26 to 28 February in Bonifacio High Street.

British Ambassador Asif Ahmad invited everyone to come to the festival to see the quality, creativity and design that the UK is known for:

British brands are creative, youthful and global. The UK lifestyle offers a unique mix of classic and modern that caters to Filipinos’ different tastes.

If you want to experience even more of UK culture, come to our Great British Festival on 26 to 28 February in Bonifacio High Street and see the very best of Britain in our weekend of fun and exciting activities.

He added,

Shopping is one of the great things about Britain! Our Great British Shopping Raffle winners will able to experience this firsthand thanks to our friends from Etihad Airways, HSBC, Fil-Anglo and Baron Travel. Travellers love to flock to London’s Oxford Street and Edinburgh’s Royal Mile.

I invite you to Visit Britain and see for yourself why the UK is one of the world’s best places to shop.

The rise of British brands here in the Philippines and the increase in shoppers and fans alike prove that, indeed, Shopping is GREAT and British flair is here to stay.
