British Ambassador's Ramadan message
On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, I would like to send my best wishes to all Muslims and particularly those in Bahrain.
Ramadan is a time for reflection, tolerance, forgiveness and charity towards those less fortunate or in difficulty. It is also a time when families and friends come together. I hope all Bahrainis take the opportunity throughout this blessed month to renew friendships and, in a region beset by increasing violence and extremism, to promote trust, confidence and coexistence between all communities. Let Bahrain be a leader in promoting peaceful co-existence amongst diverse populations.
