Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds feel less in control of their future
Article exploring the attitudes of young people and their parents towards their future plans, and how this differs by socio-economic background, using publicly available data from Wave 1 of the COVID Social Mobility and Opportunities (COSMO) study. This version includes responses from the Sutton Trust Opportunity Cohort – an additional boost sample to capture young people from more disadvantaged background. This can be accessed via the UK Data Service.
