Errors
An error was found in regard to the full-time undergraduate England-domiciled ‘unique’ counts on the following tables:
Table 2A: Student support summary by academic year - 2013/14 to 2024/25
- Total England full-time undergraduate students (row 16) for 2023/24 was amended from 1,276,500 to 1,239,400
- Total England full-time undergraduate students (row 16) for 2024/25 was amended from 1,289,100 to 1,253,500
This has in turn affected subsequent sub-totals, grand totals and resulting averages.
Table 2B: Student support summary by academic year, by new and returning students - 2013/14 to 2024/25
- Total England new full-time undergraduate students (row 9) for 2023/24 was amended from 437,900 to 425,600
- Total England new full-time undergraduate students (row 9) for 2024/25 was amended from 445,500 to 434,500
- Total England returning full-time undergraduate students (row 24) for 2023/24 was amended from 838,600 to 813,800
- Total England returning full-time undergraduate students (row 24) for 2024/25 was amended from 843,600 to 819,100
This has in turn affected subsequent sub-totals, grand totals and resulting averages.
Correction
Various - see cells marked on the above Tables denoted with [r1] through to [r6]
Validation
Figures have been reconciled and quality assured against reporting produced from other SLC systems at a loan account level.
