Details
This report presents data on the caseload i.e. the number of individual Orders and Licences being supervised by the Probation Board for Northern Ireland (PBNI) as of 31st March 2025 by type of Order/Licence along with comparisons with previous years.
Data are also presented at service user level as individual service users can be under supervision with PBNI for multiple Orders/Licences at any given time. In particular, breakdowns by gender, age and PBNI Directorate are provided.
The report also presents data on the number of reports completed by PBNI and the number of victims registered with PBNI by gender throughout the financial year.
Revision Note:
Due to a data extraction error, the data relating to reports completed in 2024/25 was revised in March 2026. The total counts reduced by 3% from what was previously published. Changes affect Table 1 in the main body of the publication, Table 10 in the accompanying data tables and the reports figure in the accompanying infographic. Data prior to 2024/25 has not been affected.
