Analysis of spending patterns by household type in 2020 to 2021, including comparisons of single and two-parent households using Living Costs and Food Survey data. This article also highlights reported experiences regarding increases in the cost of living among different household types in Great Britain using data from the Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (March to June 2022), including causes of rising costs and actions taken by households as a result.
