Details of the total amount of national non-domestic rates (also known as business rates) local authorities collected in 2020 to 2021 and the reliefs they granted.

The data has been updated after receipt of audited returns from 202 authorities

Added a file with the local authority level data as at April for reference

The release and data tables have been updated to reflect an additional 21 audited returns since the previous update published on April 13 2022. 1 authority has amended their data from their provisional return and 6 authorities have revised their provisional returns.

Updated tables to reflect small revisions to local authority data, and to correct an error in the data for amounts retained in respect of Shale Gas in the Local Authority level data. This release now covers 143 audited returns (out of 314 authorities).
