Early indicators of UK population size and age structure, 2020
A preliminary estimate of the age and sex structure of the UK population for mid-year 2020 and a range of scenario-based estimates for end of year 2020. Indicative estimates (not National Statistics) to provide an early indication of the UK population outside of the regular series of statistical releases. Detailed official mid-year population estimates by age, sex and area for mid-2020 will be published in summer 2021.
