Consumer price indices: revising the weight of owner occupiers' housing in CPIH
Improvements to the methodology for imputed rents in the National Accounts impact the weights used for Owner Occupiers' Housing (OOH) costs in CPIH. This article presents the impact on CPIH of both revisions to the OOH index and aligning OOH weights with National Accounts historical estimates. A revised CPIH series will be made available as part of this article.
