Rail environment: April 2023 to March 2024
Annual statistics covering electricity and diesel consumption of mainline passenger and freight operators in Great Britain, estimates of their associated CO2e emissions and other environmental measures for non-traction energy, water and waste. Previous editions of this release were published under the name Rail emissions. The name has been changed to Rail environment, as the release now includes additional environmental metrics.
