The Productive Healthy Ageing Profile data update for March 2023 has been published by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
This tool provides data on a wide range of topics relevant to healthy ageing. Indicators can be examined at local, regional or national level. It aims to inform the work of local government and those working more widely on productive healthy ageing.
This release includes the annual update for indicators relating to:
- deaths in those aged 65 years and over from respiratory disease, cancer and cardiovascular disease
- experience of social care for those aged 65 years and over
- percentage of people of pensionable age receiving winter fuel payments. This indicator uses a new methodology to replace the existing indicator
