National Accounts Articles: Analysis of revisions in Blue Book and Pink Books, 2017

This article details reasons for revisions to gross domestic product (GDP) in both current price (CP) and chained volume measure (CVM) terms following changes in data and methods introduced at Blue Book 2017. It also looks at details of revisions to growth rate of GDP. The later sections look at revisions to sector and financial accounts (SFA) since improvements introduced in Blue Book 2017 had a larger impact on SFA compared to GDP.
