Statistics release cancelled
Due to the need for further analysis to understand the impact of a reduced sample size following the suspension of the Survey on Living Conditions (SLC) in February 2025, we are unable to publish the Average household income, UK and Household income inequality, UK statistics for the financial year ending (FYE) 2025 as planned.
For FYE 2025, these outputs will be combined into a single headline release, which is expected to be published in early October. Our annual downloadable workbooks, containing data on average and median household income estimates, will be published as usual. Additional information to support users in interpreting the data, given the reduced sample, will be included in the headline release as well.
