This publication reports data from the 2011 Census on migrants in Scotland, compared with those born in Scotland. Information on demographic characteristics, education, employment and health outcomes is provided for the Scotland-born population and five migrant groups: people born in the rest of the UK, recent EEA migrants, established EEA migrants, recent non-EEA migrants and established non-EEA migrants. Migrant status is based on Country of Birth. It is an extension of a report on non-UK migrants published in March 2015.
