Statistics release cancelled

This release has been paused to allow time to implement a series of methodological improvements, including work to improve the symmetry of the Törnqvist index used in the CALI (Compositionally adjusted labour input) datasets. While these indexes are usually stable, recent shocks to prices, pay and hours worked, linked to COVID‑19 and geopolitical events, have resulted in unusually large movements. This requires further investigation of their impact on index symmetry and additional quality assurance.
