Would Like to Meet: a space applications networking event
On the 8th February 2018, the UK Space Agency hosted its largest networking opportunity for the space applications community to meet other application developers, investors and funding bodies.

On the 8th February the UK Space Agency’s Business Applications team hosted a networking event in London specifically targeting the Business Applications community. This was the first such event in the UK and it was a roaring success! Over 270 people registered with most of them attending, representing over 170 organisations, many of them Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to meet each other, exchange ideas and promote business growth in the UK. We were supported by colleagues within the UK Space Agency as well as colleagues from BEIS, Innovate UK, the MOD, DEFRA, DIT, the Environment Agency, UK-GEOS and our Business Applications colleagues from the European Space Agency (ESA). We had investors attend in good numbers too, including people from Seraphim Space, ViaSat Apps Factory and Airbus.
The next Would Like to Meet event will be held in January 2019. More information is coming soon.
