Details

The first UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) youth report. Drawing upon UKCES’ comprehensive labour market surveys and extensive interviews with stakeholders, the Youth Inquiry provides insight into the challenge of youth unemployment. In particular, the report looks in to:

  • the geography of youth employment
  • employers’ experiences with government support to recruit young people
  • what works from the employer perspective in recruiting young people
