Meeting: UK-Republic of Moldova Geographical Indications (GIs) Sub-Committee

Date: 16 January 2025

Summary of discussion

  1. The parties agreed the agenda for the third UK-Moldova GIs Sub-Committee.

  2. The parties discussed the draft Decision on the amendments to Annexes XIII-C and XIII-D on GIs, which was shared by the UK ahead of the meeting. The parties provisionally agreed further amendments, which the UK agreed to implement and share with Moldova for review.

  3. The UK and Moldova delegations gave presentations on the latest developments in the area of GIs in their respective territories.

  4. The parties agreed the operational conclusions and actions to take forward from the meeting.

  5. The parties thanked each other for a successful third meeting.

  6. The parties agreed to determine the date of the next meeting by correspondence.
