The Infrastructure Pipeline is a key element underpinning the delivery of the Government’s 10 Year Infrastructure Strategy.
The Pipeline provides industry and investors with up-to-date information on public and privately delivered infrastructure projects in construction, under development or in pre-project stages where a clear strategic need has been prioritised by the UK Government or in business plans.
It provides details of capital construction and maintenance projects and programmes anticipated to exceed £25 million for economic infrastructure, such as transport, utilities and energy, and £15 million for other infrastructure, including education, health and defence.
The Pipeline is a dynamic online tool, developed with input from industry stakeholders. Now in its second version, it consists of an interactive dashboard of construction projects with information about each scheme with details of anticipated spend, current status and expected completion. The latest version contains new modelling on the workforce requirements from the Pipeline and includes more detail on opportunities for private investment, such as information on the revenue models and investment frameworks used.
