Details

Business mobility allows professionals to travel temporarily to another country to deliver services. This document explains the provisions of the UK-India Free Trade Agreement that relate to it.  

This explainer covers:

• what business mobility is
• how it works
• what has been agreed on Business Mobility in the UK-India FTA
• the potential impacts of the Business Mobility Chapter in the UK-India FTA
  
  

The agreement is not yet in force. Both the UK and India are required to complete their respective domestic procedures for the agreement to come into effect. Once ratified by both countries, businesses will be able to trade under its terms.
