Dear Secretary of State,

Thank you for your letter of 1st of July 2022, concerning clarifications to the scoring of Question 1.1 of the Contracts for Difference Supply Chain Plan Questionnaire, of which we take note.

Your letter explains that updated guidance containing these clarifications will be issued to successful Allocation Round 4 Generators. Your letter also explains that public consultations have been conducted to consider proposed changes to the Supply Chain Plan Questionnaire in Allocation Round 5.1 understand that the definitive changes to the Questionnaire are currently being finalised.

Based on the clarifications you have provided, I am satisfied that there will be no need to pursue this matter further, provided that the updated guidance attached to your letter is issued and that the Supply

Chain Plan Questionnaire for Allocation Round 5 and subsequent rounds is modified as proposed in the public consultation that closed on 14 June 2022, and under the condition that the current and future Allocation Rounds are effectively administered according to that guidance and as per the specifications in your letter.

Yours sincerely,

Valdis Dombrovskis
