Summary of discussions

Minister Jayawardena chaired the fourth meeting of the Trade Union Advisory Group (TUAG) on Monday 28 June.

Attendees received updates and contributed to discussions on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), World Trade Organization reform and the United Kingdom-Australia Free Trade Agreement.

The group welcomed the updates, whilst highlighting the need to continue to uphold high labour standards and to protect and create job opportunities for British citizens in trade deal negotiations.
