Secretary of State’s suspension of anti-dumping duty
This public notice is published under section 13 of the Taxation (Cross-Border Trade) Act 2018 and regulation 71(5)(b) of the Trade Remedies (Dumping and Subsidisation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
It suspends the collection of the anti-dumping duty applied by Trade remedies notice 2025/10: definitive anti-dumping duty on certain excavators originating from China on the goods listed under ‘Goods subject to suspension of duty’ produced by the overseas exporters in the table listed in the ‘Overseas exporters: additional codes’ section.

Goods subject to suspension of duty
The suspension applies to the following goods described or imported under the commodity code specified.
Goods description
The goods are described as certain excavators originating from China and exported to the UK, which are:
- self-propelled track-laying (tracked) excavators with a 360-degree revolving superstructure and with an operating weight of 11,000 kilograms (11 tonnes) or more, but less than 80,000 kilograms (80 tonnes)

Goods excluded from the measure
The goods meeting the following descriptions continue to be excluded from the measure applied by Trade remedies notice 2025/10: definitive anti-dumping duty on certain excavators originating from China:
- self-propelled track-laying (tracked) excavators with a 360-degree, revolving superstructure and with an operating weight of less than 11,000 kilograms
- self-propelled track-laying (tracked) excavators with a 360-degree, revolving superstructure and with an operating weight of 80,000 kilograms (80 tonnes) or more
Imposition date
This public notice takes effect, and the suspension applies, from 29 November 2025.
