     'Trade remedies notice 2023/02: countervailing duty on certain continuous filament glass fibre products originating in the People’s Republic of China' amended to reflect that this measure is no longer in effect as of 30 January 2026.

     The second sentence in the 'summary of the transition review' has been revised in the trade remedies notice 2023/02 attachment.

     The summary of the transition review has been updated in trade remedies notice 2023/02 to more accurately describe the review of the countervailing measure.

     Addition of remedies notice 2023/02: countervailing duty on certain continuous filament glass fibre products originating in the People’s Republic of China which supersedes taxation notice 2020/08.

Details

The countervailing duty on glass fibre products from China was imposed by the EU on behalf of the UK and the other member states. The Secretary of State for International Trade transitioned the countervailing duty to continue applying in the UK after the transition period.
