The Government Actuary has published his determination of the Personal Injury Discount Rate in Northern Ireland on completion of his review of the Rate on 15 March 2022. This Rate is used to determine lump sum damage awards to claimants who suffer a personal injury.
The report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Damages (Return on Investment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022.
