The Fair Work Agency (FWA) Advisory Board had their first meeting on the 7 April 2026.
The meeting focused on the launch, initial approach and focus of the agency during the first month and how staff were being supported to deliver their work.
Advisory Board members considered and agreed the core governance and ways of working of the Advisory Board and the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
The Advisory Board discussed how FWA is working with the Department of Business and Trade to develop future options and approach for future Statutory Holiday Pay enforcement.
The Advisory Board discussed the forthcoming Scale and Nature report, which will be published on the 11 May ahead of the Working Lives Conference hosted by UCL. The research that led to the report was commissioned by the Office for the Director of Labour Market Enforcement in 2022.
