Details

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea was one of a small number of local authorities to request exceptional financial support for the financial years 2022-23 and 2023-24.

The government agreed to the support, conditional on an external assurance review. CIPFA’s financial review sets out detailed findings, including conclusions, evidence and methodology used, and includes recommendations for the future.
