This report presents the findings from research conducted by Incomes Data Research (IDR) for the Armed Forces’ Pay Review Body. It provides data, and associated conclusions, on how civilian life has changed since 2012 with respect to the thirteen X-Factor components. The report is part of the evidence base for the AFPRB’s review of the level of X-Factor, which is included in its Forty seventh report.
