This report has been prepared under sections 142(1), 150(8), 150A(5) and 151A(6) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 (SSAA 92) and section 11(5) of the Welfare Reform and Work Act 2016 (WRAWA 16). It considers the potential effect on the Fund of:

  • the draft Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2017 (“the Up-rating Order”)

  • the draft Social Security (Contributions) (Rates, Limits and Thresholds Amendments and National Insurance Funds Payments) Regulations 2017 (“the Contribution Regulations”)
