Details

The Regulatory Innovation Office (RIO) was setup in October 2024 to transform the UK’s approach to regulation and help the UK become the best place in the world to invest in and commercialise new technologies.

This ‘One Year On’ report showcases our progress in the first year, including the £8.9 million awarded through the Regulators’ Pioneer Fund to deliver more effective, pro-innovation regulation.

The report takes an in-depth look at:

  • the first 4 priority sectors
  • how RIO has driven progress
  • areas where it will go further
  • how businesses can contact the RIO
