Details

This notification is to make the forensic science community and criminal justice system aware that the Forensic Science Regulator is preparing declarations guidance version 3.

This will support the statutory code version 2, which comes into force in October 2025.

The notification covers:

• other declarations made by organisations, alongside a declaration of compliance to the code
• the basis on which declarations should be made when version 2 of the code comes into force
