Details

The Biometrics Commissioner issued a consultation on his preliminary proposals as to how he should approach applications made under (new) section 63G of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and the factors to which he should attach significance when determining them.

Having considered the responses to that consultation exercise, this finalised document sets out the principles and factors that will inform the commissioner’s approach to such applications.
