Details

The December edition of On the Level highlights progress on the Southern Trench Interim Membrane (STIM) project, with hydro-seeding, drainage upgrades, and preparations for major aggregate deliveries in 2026.

Community engagement included site tours and drop-in events, while a new postcard system will replace letters for abnormal load notifications. Social initiatives featured support for the Cumberland Family Hub Christmas Gift Appeal, Drigg Winter Warm Hub, and new beach ecology boards funded by LLWR.

STEM outreach continues in local schools, reinforcing LLWR’s commitment to safety and community partnership.
