This is our first annual report on the operation of the UK internal market and developments as to the effectiveness of the operation of that market. The report fulfils our statutory reporting requirement under s.33(5) of the UK Internal Market Act 2020 (the Act). The annual report presents an overview of quantitative and qualitative data in relation to intra-UK trade and discusses current and upcoming regulatory developments that are affecting, or have the potential to affect, the UK internal market.
