Analysis of samples of atmospheric particulate material and rainwater collected from seven sites in the United Kingdom has continued during 2009. The results presented in this report show there has been no measurable increase in radioactivity measured in air and rain in 2009. These results are comparable to those reported for 2008. The trend of slowly declining levels of anthropogenic radioactivity in the environment has been generally maintained.
