Details

The Money and Pensions Service is an independent organisation funded by the Department for Work and Pensions.

It replaces the 3 existing providers of government-sponsored financial guidance – the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.

It provides free and impartial debt advice, money guidance and pension guidance to members of the public.

The organisation was set up as the Single Financial Guidance Body on 1 October 2018. It was renamed the Money and Pensions Service in April 2019.
