This is the first annual report and accounts of the Marine Fisheries Agency, created in October 2005 as an executive agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to bring together the service delivery, inspection and enforcement activities provided by the Government to the fishing industry and other marine stakeholders in England and Wales.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
