This is the first report from the Improvement and Assurance Panel since statutory directions were issued to the London Borough of Croydon in July 2023.
The Panel acknowledge an increase in the pace of improvement across the Council but note that the Council must go further to identify transformation efficiencies and reduce service costs to help achieve financial stability.
