Results of research into councils’ attitudes towards using digital to improve local public services.
Councils in England provide over 600 public services to their local areas. There is enormous potential to improve these services, for their users, taxpayers and staff, through use of digital. The Local Digital campaign, promoted by DCLG and the Local Government Association aims to accelerate councils’ use of digital to transform public service, working with councils, their public and private sector partners.
This UK Authority survey commissioned by DCLG provides a baseline of senior leaders attitudes to inform the campaign.
