This document contains the following information: A clear direction: the Learning and Skills Council’s annual report and accounts for 2004 to 2005.

The Learning and Skills Council for England (LSC) was established in April 2001 and has responsibility for funding and planning all post-16 education and training in England, other than higher education. This is the Council’s fourth annual report and accounts which covers its work and performance during the year ending 31 March 2005.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
