Details

This is the Leadership College for Government’s (LCG) first prospectus - a significant milestone in what will be a long, important journey of reform.

The Civil Service is investing in its collective training and development so we are able to continue operating effectively as a leaner organisation. The LCG is a part of this investment. Its brand is replacing, consolidating, and more efficiently running a currently disparate portfolio of leadership programmes and management training.

This prospectus explains the case for change and outlines the initial LCG offer. The LCG will provide a new directors leadership programme, new management courses available to civil servants at every level, SCS induction and orientation, reformed selective programmes, and an enhanced universal offer for the SCS.
