Details

In 2017, the Committee undertook a review into Intimidation in Public Life. In that report we recommended that press regulators extend their codes of conduct to prohibit language that incites intimidation. We recently published an update on progress made against the report’s recommendations. As part of that work, we took assurance from press regulators on the current arrangements.

To that end, the Committee has written to press regulator Impress as part of their review into their Standards Code and Guidance.
