The single equality scheme sets out how the Independent Living Fund:

  • ensures compliance with equality legislation
  • raises standards in service delivery
  • strengthens communications and engagement with its customers
  • ensures fairness and consistency in the development and implementation of its policies and processes
  • ensures that it is a good and fair employer
