The Independent Living Fund (ILF) was an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Work and Pensions. It provided financial help for disabled people in the form of regular 4-weekly payments to enable them to pay for qualifying support and services that help them live independently.
On 6 March 2014, the UK government announced it would close the ILF on 30 June 2015.
