Details

The East of England Probation region’s in‑house peer mentoring programme recruits and trains volunteers with lived experience of probation to provide one‑to‑one, non‑statutory support that complements commissioned rehabilitative services.

An exploratory, small‑scale qualitative study captured views from mentors, mentees, programme coordinators and probation practitioners, and did not measure impact.
