Hydro-meteorological hazards: prediction

Report looking at the scientific capability to predict natural hazards such as flooding, storms, droughts and heat waves.

This report reviews the prediction of severe hydro-meteorological events, with timescales of hours to decades. It examines how well such events are predicted and what we can do to improve our capability to predict them in the next 20 years.

This review was commissioned as part of the Foresight project on reducing the risk of future disasters.
