This document provides guidance to fire and rescue authorities intending to submit bids for capital grant projects for 2013-15, to deliver efficiency saving outcomes, while providing a clear demonstration of value for money.

There was one bidding round commencing on 21 March 2012, and closing on 2 July 2012.

The Department for Communities and Local Government also produced a fire capital grant bid calculator to help with the bidding process.
